Allan Pacheco

With over 20 years experience utilizing CAD and CAFM, and SDI systems, Allan has worked for institutional, corporate real estate, and retail clients. He has a solid background in space data management and a strong foundation of analytical, and organizational skills. Additionally, his proficiency with AutoCAD, computer-aided facilities management (CAFM) and Space Data Management (SDM) applications, knowledge of space planning and management guidelines (BOMA and IFMA standards) rounds out his personal commitment to quality work and a client-directed approach to his professional relationships.

Originally, Allan pursued an engineering degree at the University of Maryland. In short order, it became clear to him that his passion was leading him into the architectural field, specifically with his facility for drawings and plans. This passion ignited in an AutoCAD class, which progressed into skills that included: digitizing building floor plans; maintaining a relational space database; and running user queries and reports.

He has since nurtured that class into a career that spans across numerous classifications of properties, utilizing/testing/and providing user support for many applications that form the toolkit for space planning and management.

“I’m grateful to have worked with and learned from some of the best subject matter experts in this rather specialized field. I’m also grateful to have provided mentoring and training to the brave individuals exploring this profession.

I consider myself very lucky. I’ve been able to successfully connect all of my skills and varied experiences together into a comprehensive line – always a draughtsman.”
